Ghana’s youngster, Razak Abalora continues his superb form in East Africa’s lauded tournament-CECAFA Kagame Cup.
Azam FC shot stopper guided his side to the finals of the aforementioned tournament after his crucial saves to deny Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia.
Azam FC won 2-0, courtesy of Ditram Nchimbi and Bruce Kangwa in the extra time of the CECAFA Kagame Cup semi-final played at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Wednesday.
Razak, 22, held the Kenyan giant to a goalless draw in regulation time, forcing the match to head in to extra-time and this is where the former WAFA shot stopper exhibited enigmatic performance to win him the man of the match accolade.
His save per of hands stopped Gor Mahia’s hopes of avenging the 2-0 deficit.
Azam, currently await the winner of Simba SC Vs Zanzibar’s Jeshi la Kujenga Uchumi semi final.
Azam FC are the defending champions of the tournament.
